Visual identity and poster design for a film cycle at the Polish Institute in Paris, celebrating Polish films based on literary works. The series is presented at the iconic cinema Le Reflet Médicis in the heart of the Latin Quarter.
This poster plays with the concept of scale and narrative layers. The handwritten script stretches across the composition like an oversized manuscript, transforming into a scenographic curtain that frames the scene. The image of the woman, suspended in thought, comes from one of the films featured in the cycle — a symbolic moment where she lies in a bathtub, evoking intimacy, nostalgia, and contemplation.
The collage aims to create a dialogue between the written word and moving image, between Poland and France, between personal memory and shared cultural heritage. The warm, bold orange backdrop ensures the design becomes a striking presence in the urban fabric of Paris, while subtle textures echo the tactile feeling of old books and analogue cinema.  A tribute to authors who have written the cinema, and to the quiet moments that stay with us long after the film ends.
