Poster for the 15th edition of the Kinopolska festival for the Polish Institute in Paris.
Created in a duet with Marta Skoczeń.
In the poster, the main role is played by poppies, evoking Polish grain fields. On the one hand, poppies are the delicacy and beauty of the flower and its transience, on the other hand, they also have symbolic meaning in the difficult history of the country, they evoke the blood of soldiers who died fighting for their homeland, whose young lives were cut short too soon. This tragic fate resounds in the legendary song Red poppies on Monte Cassino – Czerwone maki na Monte Cassino.
